I’ve tried to develop the storyboard

character → light

I’ve tried using the light instead of the character because I can adjust/change light brightness, size, movement, and color of the light according to the story’s progression to enhance the storyline

In the forest, there is a single light (symbolizing self-awareness or lost memories). The light wanders around, marveling at nature and the living creatures around it. Suddenly, a portal opens, and the light enters. Inside, it’s dark. As the light looks around, it sees a giant mushroom. When it touches the mushroom, it glows even brighter, and the surroundings transform into something beautiful. The light itself starts to radiate and then bursts into an explosion. After this, the light has evolved into a new form, as if it has discovered something.

Why I chose light: I believe that using elements like flickering, color, size, shape, brightness, movement, and speed can express emotions more powerfully than a character could.

I think the various forms of light can captivate the audience's interest.

Why I chose the mushroom: Mushrooms coexist with both plants and animals. They are also important indicators of the state of the climate and the ecosystem.

Fun fact: Mushrooms are also my favorite food!

I included flowers and caterpillars to show the harmony between nature and living creatures.

By changing the colors of the background, I wanted to create a strong sense of focus and contrast.
